~Feeling All Tied Up?~

So my friend called me the other day asking me for some tips and advice on how to organize Tie's. Her husband's most priced accessories are his ties, he has over 50, whaa??

Well, I hadn't thought about tie's before, crazy I know, I should have thought and known about it. But I did some research, and found some super awesome tips and ideas on how to organize ties. Here you go...

Check these two awesome ideas for those of you who rent, if you happen to have extra space in your closet or drawers, these are an easy to take with you everywhere you move solution!

How about some nice drawer dividers to divide accessories, such as socks, which will work just as well for ties.

Or an old soda crate?

And for those of you who have space to spare, designated drawers only for Tie's.

~A Dreamy Closet~

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to help my friend Sara out, she needed to clear our her daughter's dreamy closet. I say dreamy, because it would be a dream come true to have this fabulous closet. It's so big and spacious, it has everything a girl could ever hope for. The clean up and organization was such a sweet success, I would do it all over again.

Lets look at the BEFORE of this amazing closet

So much space for storage.

She absolutely adores books!

She even has a special area to hang dresses and jackets.

 Where is the floor? lol

Love these cubbies!

AFTER

Love books, now that I can see them neatly and seperated from the clothes.

And a seperate area for all the long sleeves, and the short sleeves,
with matching non slip hangers of course.

It's like the mall, a seperate area for all of the skirts, sigh...

Ok, this is heaven! A place just for her dresses and pea coats.

And the shoes!

Some delicious storing with super cute boxes, and more books of course!

Scarves to choose from.

A recap

She didn't only get a more efficient department store like closet, but a library of her own too. This closet is a dream come true!

Thank you Sara & Emily

Easiest Banana Bread Recipe Ever!

Here is a quick and super easy Banana Bread recipe for the weekend. Enjoy!
I am no baker, I will be honest, I am no cook. In fact, I am not a big fan of the kitchen, you might say I have kitchen phobia. Seriously, I am always lost whenever I'm in the kitchen, I love kitchens, I love them to death, and one day hope to have a beautiful and big kitchen, but when it comes to cooking, I am not the right person for it. I feel like Lenguini, I wish I had a tiny chef on my head that told me what to do.

So that aside, I found the easiest Banana bread recipe ever!!! on Thifty Decor Chick blog When I say easy, I mean easy! I have never made bread before, it all sounds complicated. The measurements, the ingredients, the timing, the mixing, honestly sounds hard. But this recipe was incredibly easy!!! And So good!

Ingredients

4 riped Bananas
1 Egg
1 1/2 cups of Flour
1 teaspoon of Vanilla
1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
A pinch of Salt
1/3 cup of melted Butter
1 cup of Sugar
A pinch of Cinnamon

First you will need to smash the bananas
Second add the melted butter.

Third, add the egg, vanilla, and sugar. Mix.

Fourth, you want to add the baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix.

 Last, add the flour.

My mother in-law taught me an old fashion trick, if you don't have any pan spray, use butter instead, this way nothing sticks! Works everytime for me.

Add cinnamon on top of bread. For extra yummyness!
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Your house will smell divine!!

Bon Apetite!

I have made it twice now, such an easy recipe!! Thank you Thirfty Decor Chick.

~Tool Time~

This is my latest organization project.

Loni has been in dying need of tool organization, she hates bending down, searching in her tool boxes every time she needs to use a screw driver, or dig in and see if she can find a nail to put that picture frame up on the wall. That's why she called me, not only her trusty ol sister in law, but also a professional organizer.

Check out the BEFORE

All of her paint supplies were in miscellanious spots and bins in the garage.
Paint cans everywhere, and accessories in various places, which meant, she had to search for these things every single time they needed them.

Because all of her tools were in 2 different boxes, everything was out of place, and not put away in the same spot after every use. She also had to bend over every time, which took time and strain. She called it "Stress Hazard". So true!
And the AFTER

All of the main tools that are used more regularly are now on display for easy access. Notice on the ground there are tool boxes, all the other tools not needed as often are all placed in there, saving room and space, piled on top of eachother.

All of the paint is also stacked, by the big containers full of painting supplies.
On the shelf above the big paint containers are small, clear containers labeled with more painting supplies. How much easier will painting be?

Peg Board!

Oh the joys of peg board, I'm in love!

A little car cleaning station

Don't forget the cord holder.

And what about digging in for those nails? No worries any more.

How serene!
She told me when she used it for the first time, it was bliss! She found everything she needed with ease.

Thank you Loni!
