Christmas Cheer in our Living Room 2013

It's the most wonderful time of the year! I just love to feel all the holiday cheer! And what better way to show your Christmas spirit, than with some jolly décor? I know I haven't been posting for a while, and I am so sorry. Of course I couldn't pass up a chance to share my little Christmas home.

I made this fun and cheerful garland, I really like how simple it looks. DIY instructions, coming up!

You can't go wrong with hot chocolate, especially on this cold to the bone night!

Simple Mantel this year.

Even though it's winter, I love to have fresh flowers around the house, it brings a certain delight to the holidays.

Don't forget to dress up your windows, I made simple little wreaths out of pine from my backyard.

I know it's last years, but I love it so much, I had to use again this year. What a delicious wreath!

DIY: Halloween Wreath

Can you believe it's almost Halloween already? How quick the fall came, and how fun will this year be with the holidays just around the corner. I am so in the mood for Halloween, just in time! Here is a little SWEET project for ya'll to try. It's simple, it's cute, and so cheap! I love to decorate my home with foods during the holiday. Not just foods, but Candy in particular, it's so festive and so full of fun. The kids get so excited, which makes you even more excited.

You will need the following:

Next wrap the black tape all around the wreath like so...
Than let the hot gluing begin! This can take a little while, so be patient. But so worth it in the end.

Organization: Medicine Cabinet from Nightmare to Dream

It's been a while since I've organized my bathroom, and believe me, it needed it bad! Since we moved upstairs I haven't had much time to do much detail organizing. I decided enough is enough, look how horrible my medicine cabinet looked! So not fun to look at, just boring stuff!

012

So I cleaned and cleared!

004

Next it was time to pretty things up A LOT! So of course, TJ Maxx has the prettiest wrapping paper out there for as little as $3 per roll! I love it!!
I love using wrapping paper instead of contact paper, since super pretty contact paper is hard to find, wrapping paper works the same way.

002

What a dramatic difference!

DIY: Chic Baby Wipey Cases

I love fabric! Who doesn't? Unfortunately I am not a sewer :( doesn't stop me from using it though. hehe I have a lot of fabric left over, and with a lot of baby showers come fall. So a super easy no sew project, a lot of you probably already know this. All you need is:

Fabric
Ribbon
Padding
Hot Glue
Scissors

All you need to do is cut out the fabric in the shape of each side of the wipes case. Glue the padding on first on each of the sides. Covering the back side, the sides, and the little opening to take the wipes out. Than glue on the fabric, last but not least glue on the ribbon, that completes the case, and gives it a polished look. Sorry I don't have pictures on how to, it's pretty much self explanatory though.

And you have beautiful cases! Ready to gift! And it was homemade!

From Blah to Glam: Makeup Station Update

It's about time I update my makeup station, with so much inspiration on Pintrest, I couldn't resist updating. Remember my old station? Don't get me wrong, I completely love my DIY TrayLicious. But it was time to update.

So, I got me these beauty over at my favorite store, Homegoods.

I love the acrylic organizers, they are so simple, so chic, and you can see everything you have. Loving the drawers.

I love to come into my room, just to open these drawers, and look how beautiful and organized all my makeup looks.

How convenient that I already had an acrylic divider. Look how amazing the makeup brushes look, and all of the mascaras, eyeliners, and lipsticks displayed.

034

Don't forget the most exquisite fragrances a girl could ever have. Sigh...displaying all of this makes me feel like a princess.
