Organization on the Go! + Inside My Purse

Graduations are filled with so much happiness, and glory. This event was created to make people feel proud, grateful, and honored for their everlasting success and achievements. I graduated from jetBlue University yesterday, it feels so good. I am so happy to be "blue". With that being said, I think it's time to get back to our regular schedule, projects, and blogging. It has been so crazy, and busy for our family. I am so glad to finally be back spending more time with my family.

A quick shout out to all of my new Followers!!! I love and appreciate every single one of you. Thank you for following!

Today, I would like to share inside my bag! It's just one of those posts that are short, but cute. In fact, I have seen many bloggers show off their bags, I enjoy taking a peek at my favoriter people's lives, it's so fun to see a little bit of how they live, and what they like. So, for those of you who want a little peek inside my personal life, haha here is my bag.

B&BW Sanitizer is a must, I use it everywhere I go.
My super cute pen from poppin.
Clear plumper for everyday use.
My cool wallet (a gift from the bestie)
My car keys, of course!
And cannot forget the phono!

Wonder what that little blue divider is doing in my purse?
Let me show you a quick and easy system I use to organize my purse on the go.
I got this super cute divider at the $1 section at Target.
 It's the perfect travel size!

I used to always go crazy looking for receipts, not knowing where I placed them, what if I threw them away? My purse became a portable trash bag, having to clean it out once a month, and sometimes never, and the mess caused so much stress. To avoid the wasted time, and energy, I came up with my portable time saver on the go.

The way I organize all of my receipts is, I like to classify all of my receipts by how I am going to use them. For example, I have a compartment for all of my returns, so I don't have to go crazy looking around the house for those receipts I need to return things. Then purchases, this way I can do the math after shopping, to see how much money I have spent. And reimbursements, sometimes I am able to buy things for people, landlords, friends, or work related, and I can seperate those receipts so I can use them for reimbursements.

Well now you know a little bit about My Life on the Go!

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a super Awesome Weekend!

Linen Closet Love + Show me your Closets!

Well Hello There, it's Wednesday, thanks for coming back today. As I mentioned on my last post, plus the sneak peek at New Beginnings, this year I will be focusing on organizing, plus other fun stuff. Over the past week, I had the opportunity to work on my tiny linen closet, which I am super excited to finally show you, and I can finally breath. Remember we moved last month, in December, it was a hard move, us being all sick, with the cold weather, luckily it was only upstairs, as many of you know, I used to live in a basement of a house, than the upstairs neighbors moved and we got to move upstairs, we love it!! Unfortunately, I started training on my new job a week after we moved in, therefore, I had no time to clean, organize, and decorate, luckily my training is coming at an end, and this mean new beginnings, for more organizing and decorating. This is my favorite part of the New Year, all the holidays are over, and we get to go back to our daily routines, and clean, organize, make things looks pretty, this is my favorite part.

Since I didn't get a chance to organize my house right after the move, I did however managed to work on my little linen closet, the which I am super stoked about, because in our basement we didn't have any extra closets, such as linen or coat closets. We have both now!! Yay!! Nothing makes me happier than storage space. So, without much further a do, here is my little linen closet. (I apologize about the bad quality pics)

Sneak Peek at New Beginnings

Well Happy New Year! Sorry I haven't updated forever! This training has kept me super busy and exhausted, so glad this coming week is the last week, and I will be graduating! Yay! I am so proud of myself, honestly, it has been a tough training, we have to test three times, and we must pass all three times in order to keep the job, well, so far I have passed 2 of 3 tests, our last test is this Wednesday, wish me luck! I am super excited.

Well, just a quick little update for the new year, we finally got the time to pick out our curtains, they're so cute, and we got them on sale! Here's a sneak peak, don't worry we still have many projects pending that I am still working on, and some that just need photographing, I can't wait to show off! Thanks for being patient with me.

I am super excited for this New Year. This is actually one of my favorite times of the Year, getting ready for new begginings, and not to mention, spring cleaning and organization. I love it! This year there will be lots of room for progress, and organization projects that I will be posting, along with lots of tips and ideas on how to minimize clutter, and mess in your own home. Stay tuned.

{Making Christmas} Part 6: Last Minute Homemade Gift

Well, it's that time of year, when we look out the window and see beautiful white streets, and white  roof tops, white trees, and snowflakes galore. I love it when Christmas Eve is filled with so much Christmas cheer and people's homes full of cars, the Christmas trees with presents under the tree, and most of all, all of the nativities in people's homes, and in Temple Square (if you live in Utah you know what I mean). Christmas is a time to reflect, upon the last year, and how time manages to fly past us without us noticing. Our children grow so fast, and we don't even realize it until someone else points it out, my he sure has grown! A time to forgive, and realize our Maker who is greater than us all, forgives men, so who are we to not forgive also.

This Christmas I hope you are all blessed with the Spirit of Christmas, and remember the true meaning of this special day. Our dear Savior was born, and the sheperds ran to tell the people, while the crippled lamb layed next to the baby to keep him warm. The three wise men came to see their King, Oh what a marvelous night that might have been, if only I had been there to witness it. What a humble place he was born in, it really makes me feel very blessed to know our Heavenly Father loves us so much, that he sent his only begotten son, to die for us, but first, to be born and live among us, to teach us, and love us. I am so grateful this Christmas for that wonderful baby, Mary carried in her womb. I hope we all remember that Christmas is not about the Presents, but his Presence.

This brings me to my last minute gifts, just finished making some yummy home made Banana Bread, for the recipe <click here> I love making things and giving them to friends, neighbors, and of course, family!

I love the smell of Banana Bread in the morning.

And presents under the Tree...

I look out the window and what do I see? Popcorn popping on the apple tree...

I love Christmas Cards!

Wow, it has been such a crazy busy week, but somehow I managed to get lots done.

I wish you all very Merry Christmas, I am greateful for you all, my followers, thank you for your support, and for your visits, thank you for insipiring me to keep blogging.

{Making Christmas} Part 5: The Mantel

My goodness, has it been a super busy week? or what? I love my new job, everyday it gets easier, and more enjoyable. I love learning new things, and serving others.

Well, I finally got to photographing our Christmas Mantel this year, it's very simple, but very colorful, I really do love it. I picked up some local shrubs from my backyard, ther's nothing more rewarding than using your own natural resources. The colors match our tree this year, I love this color combo so much. I think I might use it a little too much. That's alright, it never goes out of style.

Oh and I also found a tree topper, just a simple blue bow will do!

For my Mantel, I decided to make it fun, sweet, and delicious! As you may have remembered my Delicious Wreath DIY project, I also went ahead and used left over candy from the wreath, and picked up some sweet candy canes. Along with white and blue ornaments I had. Love it!!!

I haven't put up our stockings yet, 2 reasons, first my toddler will pull them and possibly break things. And two, I didn't get a chance to make our stockings this year, so the ones from last year will have to do, they're not bad, but not the colors I was hoping for.
